Meditate NOW was formed in 2005 after a year of research and beta-testing of the Meditate NOW CD. The purpose of Meditate NOW was originally to provide psychotherapists a tool they could share with their clients, a powerful tool to help people become more relaxed and centered. Meditation is that tool. The CD is the pathway to the meditative state.

The Meditate NOW CD is a professional quality audio CD with three tracks of ambient and bilaterally shifting audio effects. There are binaural beats embedded in the sound. The binaural beat technology is the element that induces the meditative brainwaves.

In 2006 the public was welcomed to the Meditate NOW site www.emdr.netfirms.com and allowed to purchase the CD directly.
